Hello RET parents, students, and friends!

Hello,

I couldn't be more excited to be the new principal here at RE Thompson Intermediate School!  I have worked in the Tuscumbia City School system for the last 11 years as the 8th grade World History teacher.  While my experience has been with the older students, I feel it will be a benefit knowing what skills and responsibilities the students here at RET need to be working towards as they move through this school.  I have met a good number of the faculty and staff and look forward to working with this highly energized and motivated group of people that truly have a love for the students and the school.  I would like to thank everyone that is helping make this transition a smooth one and I look forward to meeting all the parents, grandparents, and guardians as we get closer to the start of school.  I will be hard at work this summer getting ready for a great 2010-2011 school year, if you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to come by, e-mail, or call.  A date for class postings will be determined shortly as will our registration proccess.  Have a wonderful summer!!
