We have many activities and websites linked on our R. E. Thompson Computer Lab Site to help with your students while they are at home during this time away from school.

Under the Math tab, there are multiplication flash cards, games and online timed tests. Also, there are many different math categories, fractions, telling time, money, etc. One of our students’ favorite math games is Prodigy, they should already have their login information, if not, they can create a new account. They can play with their friends and other students online and battle against each other in math. I highly recommend this game and has timed tests. Quick Flash is a great site for math flash cards. There are also games listed by Common Core Standards, if you would like to follow that.

There are also Reading, Spelling, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, Computer & Technology, Keyboarding, as well as fun games. Of course, the students know that they can take timed keyboarding tests and keep their skills up to date.

These are some favorites:

Cool Math Escape Games

Hooda Math Monkey Go Happy Incredibox This Is Sand

Prodigy Bitesize Dance Mat Typing

Room Recess Math KidzType Levels Keyboarding

Room Recess Spelling Spelling City

As always, please monitor your children. Although I have checked these websites, we have to continually monitor our students, because any time they play online, there are continued online dangers and you have to monitor and be aware of what your child is playing, even on educational websites!

Instructions to get to Only2Clicks on R. E. Thompson:

Go to our R. E. Thompson website: on Computer Lab Link as shown below

Now you are at Only2Clicks where all of our links are located. The tabs at the top are in subjects. Just click a subject and the links are below under that tab.

Many companies are offering free subscriptions during this time of students being home and away from school. and many coding websites are offering free subscriptions.

You can check our Coding tab on Only2Clicks to see which ones are offering free subscriptions.

Also, your students can work on their Edmentum skills, if they would like to. Also, EPIC Books for kids is a great site with many online books for your children to read or have read to them. All kinds of books! It is free through June, 2020! Our students all have an account through my lab.

They just go to READING tab, click on Epic Books, find their class/name/ and put in this code for student login:>cdz0370.

Hopefully, we will all be back at school before we know it. Stay safe and healthy.
